I just started Letter of the Week with Luke in the past month. Having tried letter of the week with Matt, I decided that this time round, I will be more relaxed and try to let Luke take the lead in terms of what type of activities interest him. I also decided that I will devise craft/activities which do not require too much preparation work on my part so as not to stress myself up. =)
Here's what you need for this activity:
- Poster Paint
- Small ball (plastic or rubber)
- Paper
We have already done some Letter A stuff for the past 2 weeks and last week we did Letter B. I drew the outline of big letter B and small letter B on a piece of drawing paper. Sat Luke down on his highchair, poured some poster paint in a plastic plate and gave him a ball to stamp paint on the letter B. He seemed to really enjoy the activity.
He enjoyed it so much he asked for another colour and experimented with paint brush this time.
And when he saw the ice cream stick in the craft box, he asked to use it too!
