On 17 Jan 2011, we celebrated my hubby's 39th birthday. His special request for his birthday was to have his wife's home-baked quiche for dinner! It was the most delightful and flattering request a wife can get from her hubby.
With 2 young children, it was nice to celebrate birthdays in the comfort of our own home. And it was such a joy to see my hubby and 2 boys enjoying the quiche which I had baked.

The boys were especially thrilled when it was time to light the candles and sing the birthday song for Pa Pa. They even added their favourite strawberry Pocky sticks on Pa Pa's cake. (Can you see them on the birthday cake after we had removed the candles?) The boys were so cute. =)
I asked hubby how he felt on his 39th birthday. His reply: "I feel blessed and happy for the family which God had given me. I never imagined that I will have a wife and 2 cute boys."
Well, I have the same feeling of gratitude and joy. Especially for this man whom God had brought into my life and is now my hubby. He has been my friend for 15 years and my hubby for 5 years! And it's has been a beautiful journey being his friend and wife.
